Question: What is Marijuana?
Answer: The term 'marijuana' refers to the leaves and flowering tops of the cannabis plant. Marijuana is a tobaccolike substance produced by drying the leaves and flowering tops of the cannabis plant. Marijuana contains a natural chemical called THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) which gives users of the drug a 'high' when smoked. Marijuana leaves are usually smoked in the form of loosely rolled cigarettes called joints or cigars called blunts.
A number of other drugs including phencyclidine (PCP) may be used in making joints and blunts, substantially altering their effects and deadliness. Some common names for marijuana include pot, grass, weed, mary jane, acupulco gold, and reefer.
Marijuana users experience the same health problems as tobacco smokers, such as bronchitis, emphysema, and bronchial asthma. Some of the effects of marijuana use also include increased heart rate, dryness of the mouth, reddening of the eyes, impaired motor skills and concentration, and frequent hunger. Extended use increases risk to the lungs and reproductive system, as well as suppression of the immune system. Occasionally, hallucinations, fantasies, and paranoia are reported.

Marijuana should be legalized. The begining reson why it is illegal is because of mexican jobs. The only reason why it is illegal now is because tobacco, alcohol, and lumber industry. Tobacco kills around 10,000 people a day. Alchol kills around 10,000 people a year excluding car crashes and violent acts. Marijuana has kill 0 people. Hemp(male Pot plant) could be used to make house instead of waisting trees that take hundreds of years to grow you could grow a farm of marijuana sell the female plants for use of the drug and the male for creating rope, houses, paper, and clothes.

You do not smoke the marijuana leaves, you smoke the marijuana buds that grow all over the plants.
Sometimes leaves are used to make 'hash' foods, they cut them up and cook and eat them with the food. but most throw them out

marijuana is not the immoral or negative taboo that our parents have made us think it is. the only reason that anybody has been taught that marijuana is bad is because it is illegal. anything illegal is automatically considered "bad". clinical research proves that weed is not addictive and does not contribute to the use of harder drugs, so then why is everyone so against it???
