just wondering i saw what "kim" had said and im in the same situation, short story- i fixed someones computer for them, and they constantly procrastinated to pay me the money for my work, month later i heard nothing from the guy for a month or two and out of knowhere he calls me up threatening me and saying hes going to call the cops and take me to small claims court if i got rid of his computer or sold it. technically i was under the impression after 30days it rightfully became mine since he neglected to ever pay me or contact me for two months. just wondering what you all think?

I was asked by my Dad & Stepmom in I believe 1996 or 1997 to move into my brother Tony's mobile home to live near them after he was sent to prison for life. My family & I moved in & I have lived there ever since. My dad died in dec 2008 & my stepmom is now in the hospital not expected to live much longer. The mobile home is still in my brother's name. My stepmom's brother has become executor of her estate and I believe he is going to try to take the land & mobile home from me. Do I have any rights in this matter? My dad's will listed my stepmom & brother only. He actually abandoned me & my mom

Last may my boyfriend got us a puppy. We were living together at the time. Five months ago he broke up with me for one of our friends. He kicked me out and said he's not a jerk, I can have our dog. he's known where i was the entire time, he even visited her a few times while i was working. Now he's claiming it's his dog and he says he's going to briing me to court and take her back. Can he do that? It's been five months and he hasn't said anything until now.
