Question: My parents do drugs and how do I get away from it?

Answer: Depending on the state, for a child whose parents are not willing or able to care for him or her, a dependency petition may be filed. Some states also allow for a child to request emancipation (Arizona does not allow this). In Arizona, a private person or government agency can petition for dependency. Contact your state's Child Protective Services agency to obtain more help.

Its like he dosent even care about me or my sister. At least my 11year old sister dosnt know a thing. I just wish that my dad could at least think about his kids before he starts to do whatever. Im just shock. My mom sad he has ben doin it before my sister was born. If ur reading this and have a parent or a relative who u really love dont let their mistakes affect u. Then, when u can, have a talk with them and see what they say.......

My dad does drugs and my mom is an alcoholic and my parents got into real fights. and my mom called the cops on my dad and he went to jail and than they found out about the drugs and made him go to rehab but it didn't work and my mom does not have a job and I don't get a long with her at all because I gave her way to many chances to change and get help and well I had my older brother but he just went to college and now I am pretty much on my own. I live with my mom but I don't talk to her and my grandparents send me money to live off of and I spent a lot of time at my best friend's house.

Both of my parents are addicts of Crystal Meth. One day I finally got the courage to get my family some help. I went to the lasion officer at my school and told him everything. I was taken to the Anoka county juvinelle center for 5 days intil I had court. I was placed in a foster home and was unable to have contact with my parents or friends intil My parents were in treatment for 2 weeks and had clean UA's. Well... By the time my mom got in treatment, I had been there for 3 1/2 months with no contact with either parents. Things didnt really work out in that foster home, TO BE CONTINUED.....
