I was only 16 years old when i started to date this guy that was 24 years old and he was a good friend of my dads. my parents were not too happy about it. I ran away and did many things and finally the state of AZ pressed charges on him because we got caught. He had several court dates and finally his trial came. Because of the fact that my parents didnt show up at court he only got 2 weeks in jail. I am still dating him and infact we are engaged but before our marriage date i have to go through the court to even get a chance to see him and if the law doesn't let me see him i have to wait until his sex offender classes are over which could be up to 7 years or more. talk about unlucky. all because i fell in love with a man that was older they had to mess my whole life up. i hope every one that dates an older man just keep it safe. After 2 years with him we are still together but im still having to go to school and work and live ALONE all because of this and fighting trying to talk to his judge and probabtion officer. girls watch out if you love the guy the one feeling that you will never get rid of is you put the love or your life behind bars and charges on his record, but dont stay with them because you feel guilty stay because hes the one.

no offense, but that was NOT a smart decision. you may be "in love" with him, but how do you know ti's for real? i mean, ur like, what? 18? how are you going to feel when you are like 30 and he's 54? sure, some people can say that age is just a number and that love prevails and other stuff, but how do you know that? age is that way for a REASON. it just aint there to "steal ur thunder" or nuthing. dating older guys can be dangerous... thats all ima say...

I think that was a bad decision on your part to be with him still. what are your children gonna think when they grow older hearing something about a their dad being a sex offender. there is more guys in the world today. Be smart and follow the law. Love can also make you blind.
