Question: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE RIGHT TO ASSEMBLE AND THE RIGHT TO PETITION?
Answer: Both are guaranteed under the first ammendment. The right to assemble means that people can gather together - the right to petition means that someone can bring a request for change or a hearing to the government. Both of these rights have boundaries on how they can be excercised.
