Question: Can someone with a driver’s permit operate a motor vehicle if another person with a driver’s permit rides in the front seat?
Answer: The permit entitles the permittee to operate a motor vehicle requiring a class D license when all of the following conditions are met:
1. The permittee has the permit in the permittee's immediate possession.
2. The permittee drives on a designated highway or within a designated area.
3. An approved instructor who has a class A, B, C or D license occupies a seat beside the permittee.
ARS 28-3154 and ARS 28-3155 are related to driving permits.

What happens if you are pulled over on a motorcycle and all you have is a valid Auto drivers liscense and a motorcycle permit and you are by yourself ?

I understand your desire to drive by yourself because I felt that way when I was your age. However, one of the reasons you are allowed to have a permit before you get a license is so that you can PRACTICE while having an experienced driver with you. No matter where you are, situations will always arise that require instant reaction to avoid an accident. If you don't have experience or assistance from a "veteran driver" you could be in deep trouble. Besides, I hate to say it guys, but you know as well as I do that you can behave really nicely for the driving instructor and then pull really

I disagree with those who believe that one should be able to get a license right after getting a permit. Though I almost wish that were so, because I have been awaiting my 17th birthday since the day I got my permit, I know that even though I think I am a good driver, which I may be, I do not have the experience to handle the road by myself just yet. Also, I know of many people who are much worse drivers than I am, so the fact that one must wait the given amount of time for a license makes me feel safer on the road, even though I may partake in some 95+ mph street racing.

I agree, that teens capable of driving safely, and properly, should be authorized to drive, after testing of course. I'm 16 right now and I'm a better driver than my parents who constantly make mistakes on the road, accidentally and sometimes purposely.
