Question:

what is a juvenile?

Answer:

In Arizona, some of the laws relating to children are located in Title 8 of the Arizona Revised Statutes. A.R.S. § 8-201 is a definitions section within Title 8. That law states, "'Child', 'youth' or 'juvenile' means an individual who is under the age of eighteen years."

Often the word juvenile is used as a synonym for child or minor.
