Question: Is it legal to buy a car, register it and insure it if I'm under 18 years old?

Answer: Purchasing and insuring a car require contracts. There are several ways to go about these transactions legally.

Please see the following Speak UP! questions for more information about contracts:

If I am a minor and have entered into a contract to buy a car from an adult, is there anything I can do to get out of the contract? If the title to my car is in my name, is it illegal for someone else to have possession of the title and refuse to give it to me?Is it legal for minors to make/break contracts?
