Question: Did Arizona pass a law where you can't drive until you are 18?

Answer: No, Arizona passed a graduated licensing law. All 15, 16 and 17-year olds applying for a graduated driver license on or after July 18, 2000, are affected by the new law, regardless of when they may have applied for an instruction permit Even holders of instructional permits received before July 18, 2000 must hold the instructional permit for a full five months before they can apply for a graduated license.

We have to get our drivers liecnse when we'er 15,16 or17 because mybe want to get to places. some times we do want to walk or ride our bikes. we can also get to places faster. we don't have to wait intill were 18. then parents want us to get home faster and sooner.Thats why we shouldn't wait intill we're 18.

I waited to get my permit until I was 16. I still haven't gotten it yet, but I will. Yes, I do believe that being 15 is a young age for driving but you have to start sometime. I'm lucky enough to live in the woods so when I recieve my permit I will learn to drive in the back roads until I'm redy for the highway. It's a big choice in deciding when to get your permit/liciense but if the person who chooses is RESPONSIBLE enough for there own actions on the road, then it should be okay. Let them proceed to driving.

i think that all these comments are true, but people say that "18 year olds are adults." no, i find that age is just a number, and 18 year olds can be JUST as immature as a 16 year old. there are issues on both sides, but i beleive that kids should have permits for a longer period of time, because studies show that kids drive better when under supervision. 3 months is NOT enough time for teens to learn to drive well, but thats just me.

people should be able to get their permit at the age of 16. 18 is ridiculous it is too long to wait to drive. We want to be able to drive to see family, or to just to pick up babes. Maybe we want to go to McDonalds or BurgerKing bada ba ba ba im lovin it! WE aint that irresponsible all we want to do is to get to places faster than walking or riding my bike. Maybe we want to go to DisneyWorld or sixflags or to the movies or chuckie cheese to chill with my homies and the hot honeys. To drink pop and eat pizza or burgers yall!!!
