Question: Did Arizona pass a law where you can't drive until you are 18?

Answer: No, Arizona passed a graduated licensing law. All 15, 16 and 17-year olds applying for a graduated driver license on or after July 18, 2000, are affected by the new law, regardless of when they may have applied for an instruction permit Even holders of instructional permits received before July 18, 2000 must hold the instructional permit for a full five months before they can apply for a graduated license.

i think we should get our license when we are 16, but have an agreement that if we get in a certain amount of trouble then we lose our privillages to drive until we are 18 years of age.

I am 16 and I personally believe that 15 and 16-year-olds should not be driving. There is absolutely no reason for a person this age to drive a car. None whatsoever. 15 and 16-year-olds should consider taking the bus to school or having a parent drive them to school. I take the bus to school and feel much safer than if I drove myself to school. I have heard of too many 15 and 16-year-olds getting killed on the roads and the thought of driving invokes fear in me. I don't to end up as a statistic. I support the driving age being raised to 18, and so should every young person who values their lif

i think you should be able to drive at 13 if you get a good grade on your test and are responcible cuz it depends on the driver. plus they say it usually takes 5 years to get experienced so why would it matter at 13 or 18 its still gonna take 5 years!

I agree with everyone who says you should wait. I got my permit at 17 and license at 18. Before that my sister was driving me places. One day we got in an accident and it changed my life. I am a very cautious driver now and I have not been in an accident since. I once heard that everyone gets in a least two accidents before they are 21. I am working toward that not coming true for me.
