Question: Did Arizona pass a law where you can't drive until you are 18?
Answer: No, Arizona passed a graduated licensing law. All 15, 16 and 17-year olds applying for a graduated driver license on or after July 18, 2000, are affected by the new law, regardless of when they may have applied for an instruction permit Even holders of instructional permits received before July 18, 2000 must hold the instructional permit for a full five months before they can apply for a graduated license.

I think we should be able to get our license at 16 years old, But have to take driving school in order to get our license. Thats my opinion.

I think it is a great law for teenagers to have to wait until they're 18 to get their liscences. Of course it is very convenient for teenagers to be able to get around on their own (all those mall trips), and MANY won't think it's fair, but, lets face it. We as teenagers don't have he greatest judgement in the world. We are still in school, after all. Still learning. I may be young, but I know how the world works, and me being a teenager in the now, I am hoping there are other young teenagers that see it my way.

I think you should have to be 18. Too many teens aren't mature enough yet. I waited until I was 18 because I was in 3 accidents with my boyfriend and it scared me. I think I'm a much better driver now then I would've been at 16.

I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD GET THERE LICENSE AT 20 BECAUSE THERE A LITTLE BIT MORE MATRE AND THEY HAVE BIGGER RESPONSABILITY. THEY DON'T REALLY WANT TO CRASH THEIR CARS BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR IT WITH THEIR OWN MONEY.
