Question: If an officer changes lanes and gets in front of you and makes you stop the car because he was too close what can I do?

Answer: In Arizona police officers are given wide discretion in directing and regulating traffic.  In fact, it is illegal according to A.R.S. § 28-622 for a person to fail to comply with the lawful order of a police officer's direction, control, or regulation of traffic. There does not seem to be anything illegal about a police officer forcing your car to stop by braking in front of you.  Unless, you believe the officer did it for some unlawful purpose, there is nothing to be done about it.  Given the details provided in your question, it does not seem that there was any wrongdoing.  Feel free to ask another question with more detail if you think that the officer was acting outside of his authority.
