Question: what is the punishment for driving without a licence or permitt?

Answer: If a person operating a vehicle does not have a license or permit to show an officer when asked, they are guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor (Fine up to $750 or up to 4 months in jail). However, if you go to court and show your license or permit (or authorized copy of either) and it was valid at the time the officer asked for it, then the misdemeanor will be dropped (ARS 28-1595).

in the state of texas a DWLI (driving while liceinse invalid) is an arrestable offense. in fact, in texas all traffice violations are arrestable, except speeding. so if u are goin 100 in a 30 u can not get arrested ofr that particular offense, but if your license plate is dirty, that is a violation, and that you can go to jail for.

I am being charged with smashing mail boxes in Massachusetts, and I haven't gone to court yet for it, and while I was visiting my father in California I was caught driving without a license. What do you think is going to happen to me? Is it mandatory that I got to court for driving without a license or can I just pay the fine?, and What are the chances that I am going to go to Juvi?
