Question: How old do you have to be to drive a car and how old do you have to be to register the car.

Answer: According to the Arizona Motor Vehicles Division, anyone can have a car's title in his/her name, even a 2-year-old.  A title to a car signifies legal ownership of the car, but it's not the same as registration. Registration is permission from the government for the car to be driven (and in Arizona, it serves as the process by which property taxes are collected on vehicles).  The person in whose name a car is registered must have a driver's license and insurance.  In Arizona, you must be at least 16 to drive and register a car.

I never drove a car in High School cause my parents never allowed me to drive a car when I was younger. I am not upset about it anymore I got used to it being sad. My brother drove a car when he was eighteen yrs. old. You could be any age to drive a car not just 15 yrs. old.
