Question: what will happen when a lawyer fails to proccess the right information that her client needs

Answer:

I read this question to ask “what happens if an attorney makes a mistake in her client’s case.”  The answer depends on whether it is a mistake that can be corrected.  An attorney can often correct a mistake if it is harmless and she brings it to the court’s attention. If the client believes that the attorney is not doing a good job, the client may bring those concerns to the attorney’s attention.  If the client is still dissatisfied with the attorney’s work, she may terminate the attorney, or contact the State Bar of Arizona to report the problems she is having with the attorney, or she may do both.

Good communication between attorneys and clients is very important; the attorney needs information from the client and the client needs to know how her case is going.  It is always a good idea to clearly tell the attorney what your needs are, and to follow-up with the attorney to make sure that your needs are being met.
