Question:

What is the maximum penalty for 13-3613. Contributing to delinquency of a minor? My 15 year old sister and I were also charged with liquor in our body. How long does this stuff stay on your record?

Answer:

You may want to contact an attorney to find out the possible penalties for your specific circumstances. For information only:

  1. A.R.S. 13-3613 states that Contributing to the delinquency of a minor is a class 1 misdemeanor.
  2. A.R.S. 13-802 says that a class 1 misdemeanor shall pay a fine set by the court for not more than $2,500.
  3. A.R.S. 13-707 describes imprisonment for a misdemeanor and states that the court shall set the term and the maximum time for a class 1 misdemeanor is 6 months.

Depending on your specific circumstances, and whether there were other things involved, the penalties may change. You may want to consult with an attorney to find out how these statues apply to your situation.
