Question: If driving with a permit alone and are pulled over what are the possible concerns?

Answer: A Learner's Permit is not a license to drive a car. It is a special permit that allows you to drive a car on the road only for the purpose of learning to drive, and you must have a licensed driver with you at all times.

The point of a Learner's Permit is to give you an opportunity to learn to drive, with supervision from someone with a license.

If you were to be caught driving without supervision, you will first be cited for driving without a license just as anyone else would that is driving without a license. In addition, it is likely that you will not be allowed to obtain a Driver's License at all for some period of time as punishment for breaking the law. The period of time until you could get a License would depend on the circumstances, but will probably be until you turn eighteen year's old.

Stop whineing about it. The law is there to allow you the ability to practice driving a car on public roads. "If i know how to drive then why do I need it?" Well you DONT. Just sit in your home and wait till your 16 and take your driving test if you already know how to drive. If you are not 16 and you want to drive do so with someone else like the law allows. Learn to be satisfied what you are allowed in life because as you get older you will realise that nothing is easy, free, or to your likeing. You might as well start getting used to it and you have the rest of your life to deal with it.

What happens if you get pulled over for some little mistake and you don't have a driver's license yet?

Uhh.... The learners permit is not a licence. It is only to be able to DRIVE for the purpose of learning how to DRIVE. Well it doesnt make sense, because if you can DRIVE than you dont need to learn how to DRIVE. DUUUHH. So its a pretty dumb law.

I also agree that this is the stupidest law possible .. i understand if you give them a fine of some money but waiting till your 18 .. thats a little harsh .. i think you should just get pentalized for maybe a few months and maybe a little fine .. but they take all our money anyways .. but whatever .. cops need to lay off alittle.
