I Honestly Do agree with most of you But evem though I have been living on my own for two years I don't think that it's right when the person you Love has to worry about going to jail because He's 20 and you 17 almost 18! Answer that for me please. My parents were 13 and 19 when they met got married when my mother was 16 and father was 22 and they have been together almost 35 years I don't understand about a year or two in age difference!!!

If you have to ask what the legal age is then you are not old enough. Does not matter if you are 16 or 22, having sex is more than just a physical thing between 2 people. If you were to get pregnant, who would take care of the baby?? If you are not old enough to take care of a baby, then you are not old enough to have sex. If you are being financially supported by your parents, then they DO have the right to decide when you have sex because it will be them that ends up supporting a baby.

I truly believe you should not have sex till marriage, that is the way God inteneded it to be think about it there are too many diseases out there. Why is it so hard to wait till you are married? What is the point of sleeping with someone you know you are not going to marry? Even at 16 or 17 you think you met the person you will be w/ forever but 99% of the time you will not be w/ that person. also 99% of the time if you get pregnant the guy is not there for you anymore I have seen it happen. then what you are stuck taking care of a child w/no money no house of your own how unfair to the baby
