Question: Can a twelve year old hunt with a parent?

Answer: Yes. Arizona Law (ARS 17-335 B.) states that a person under 14 may take game (hunt) without a license, if accompanied by an adult who possesses a valid Arizona hunting license. This does not apply to the taking of big game species (Elk, Deer, etc), however, which does require the child to have a license and complete a hunter safety course.
