Question: Why is changing a sales tag shoplifting?

Answer: It is considered shoplifting because the person switching tags is paying less than the true purchase price for the product and depriving the store of the rightful amount of the product. Arizona Law is defined in A.R.S. 13-1805 (a) (3).

But if everything was free, the natural resources we currently have would be depleted. Think about it, people would be seriosly over-eating since all food is free and, after a period of time, we would be consuming things faster than nature could supply them. Also people would be using drugs and alcohol more since it would be free. Because the main reason people are prevented from using drugs is because they run out of money. So therefore the death rate would be up 'cause people would dying from overdoses and to much alcohol. But, I have to admit, getting all the clothes I want for free does so
