Question:

Are motorized skateboards illegal or is anything being done to make them illegal?

Answer:

Motorized skateboard use is covered by city laws. For example, in Tempe, the law states that no child under the age of 14 can operated a motorized skateboard. (Section 19-23). Tempe City codes also state that no person other than the owner of the motorized skateboard is authorized to ride it and that no passengers are allowed on it. To be sure, check with your local police department to find out about laws concerning motorized skateboards in your community.

LOOk this is messed up when us kids have a hobbie like riding Gopeds® and i enjoy fixing engines on them but you get the donut eaters come and take them away im 15 and i wear a dirtbike helmet when we race you have to old people call the coppers on you... But when you have some party down the street with some under age drinkers they dont do nothing about it.And when those old people where kids with the camaros and the nova's and they raced on the high-way its OK i think that is BULL.the next time time you get caught tell them to go bust a drug dealer
