Question:

Are motorized skateboards illegal or is anything being done to make them illegal?



Answer:

Motorized skateboard use is covered by city laws. For example, in Tempe, the law states that no child under the age of 14 can operated a motorized skateboard. (Section 19-23). Tempe City codes also state that no person other than the owner of the motorized skateboard is authorized to ride it and that no passengers are allowed on it. To be sure, check with your local police department to find out about laws concerning motorized skateboards in your community.

all my riends have Gopeds® and we race them on the streets , some cops only tell us to go to a less driven on road, the mean cops confiscate them
