Question:

Are motorized skateboards illegal or is anything being done to make them illegal?

Answer:

Motorized skateboard use is covered by city laws. For example, in Tempe, the law states that no child under the age of 14 can operated a motorized skateboard. (Section 19-23). Tempe City codes also state that no person other than the owner of the motorized skateboard is authorized to ride it and that no passengers are allowed on it. To be sure, check with your local police department to find out about laws concerning motorized skateboards in your community.

My point was that i race both of them with NOS. Goin; at a high 80mph. i fell at 73mph and all i got was a bloody nose. These are the identical minor injuries of a bike, rollerblade/skate, skateboards, and foot skooters. If they make these Gopeds® illegal, their only trying a way to take expensive gifts away from kids and givin' it to their own kids. their makin people waste money b/c they never stoppedthe scooter dealers from selling them in stores.
