Question: Is there a bicycle helmet law for minors?

Answer: There is no bicycle helmet law in Arizona state law for minors or for adults. (There is no motorcycle helmet statute in Arizona, but eye protection is required.) However, it is really dumb not to use a helmet in either situation. There may be local statutes (county or city) on helmets. You need to call your county sheriff or city police department to find out what statutes apply where you live.

I don't care what other people think you know what you're doing. If you decide to wear one great, but if you don't you know what the consequences are. It is your decision and you are free to do as you like.
