Because they let you do other stuff and supposedly you are an adult.They let you go to the army and let you apply for a job and do adult stuff, but not drink beer illegaly? I hope they chage the law to 18 years old and older. bie!

The government can call you an adult at 18 to take your money etc but you can't have all the benefits that most adults are entitled to? I find it very odd that you guys can join the army at 18 but you can't legaly drink.

respect that certain ages should be allowed a limit to how much
alcohol they can purchase. An eighteen year old can go into a
bar but can only order two drinks - fair enough and it increases
from there. This is only if they pass the drinking test. The test
would also generate revenue for the government as well ($30
test fee). Maybe someone could brainstorm more on this issue.
