Question: What happens when someone under 18 is caught with a fake ID?

Answer: Under Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) 4-241(e), a person under the legal drinking age who uses a fake ID or uses the ID of another person to get into a bar is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor and will be prosecuted. Also, under A.R.S. 28-3309, anyone who is convicted for using fake ID will have his or her driver's license suspended for 6 months for the first conviction and 12 months for each following conviction. I think if drinking alcohol was allowed then it wouldn't be such a big deal. If you tell someone that is immature that they can't have something that just makes them want it more. Also how come an 18 year old can sentence someone to death, by being on a jury, or go kill people for their country, but not have a beer. I understand your point about them being immature but are you saying they are mature enough to kill someone. If they are mature enough to kill someone, then they are mature enough to drink alcohol.

The government regulating what goes into your body isn't slavery dingus, slavery's much worse and a drastic and complete loss of personal and humane rights. Not at all similiar with drinking laws. Once our society is responsible enough to handle and abide by drinking laws the way they are, then will it be considered to drop it. The reason theres an age limit is because 18, 19 and 20 year olds like yourself drink yourself stupid and crash cars. Not to say it doesn't happen to poeple of all ages.Sadly our nations youth is imature and too irresponsible and needs to be "babied" with these laws.

yea I'm 18 and I would like to drink now and again. THe thing that I don't get is how 18 19 and 20 year olds can be charged as an adult but don't have the same responsability's or freedoms as an adult does. Why can a government tell us what to put into our own bodys, that's not freedom, that's slavery.
