Question: What kind of punishment could you receive for looking at porn on the Internet if you are underage?

Answer: If the material is 'obscene,' then it is probably illegal for a minor to have or give to others under state law. The definition of obscene is very vague; a Supreme Court Justice defined obscenity by saying, 'I know it when I see it.' If you download porn and send it to anyone under 18 or save it on your computer and someone under 18 can access it, you could be charged with providing indecent material to minors. The penalties may include prison time, confiscation of the computer used, and probation. An internet service provider could also terminate your service for such action. Finally, just imagine explaining this to your parents.

People rate movies and games, like CARA and ESRB, but why bother? A person would most likely see a naked person before 18 or 13 anyway.
