Question: Is it true that you can have a note from your parents to be out after curfew?

Answer:

In Arizona, a minor is not violating a county or city curfew if they are accompanied supervising adult, are on an emergency errand or have been specifically directed to the location on reasonable, legitimate business or some other activity by the supervising adult. (A.R.S. § 11-251(40)).

I'm not going to sit here and say teenagers are all good people. Some are very bad, and do the things like grafitti and drinking and such. But the majority of us do not do those things, and are staying out late because its fun. And the comment "its to keep you out of trouble" doesnt make sense at all. It's the stupidest thing i've ever heard. If you are bad enough to do grafitti at all, i think they're bad enough to stay out after curfew without getting weak at the knees. If anything, the people who do grafitti come out after curfew because less people are out and they have less a chance

We don't have a curfew here in Florida where I live, but i think that they should put one because a lot of kids like to stay out until 2:00am, when they really should be sleeping. They should have a curfew from Sunday-Thursday(only school nights)til 12:00. On weekends and during the summer it should be until 1:00am. 18 year olds shouldn't really be considered an adult, beacuse most of them do have too much growing up to do and act very irresponsible.

There are murderers out there that are adults and do not have curfews so why as teens if we did not do that but we get stuck with the curfew and it is just not right. We should have the same rights but because we are younger we do not. It is just so stupid.

Just because some people are irresponsible doesen't mean you can punish the rest of us. There should be no penalty for being out late, unless you are doing something illegal (out late vandalizaing a park, or something.)
