Question: Is it true that you can have a note from your parents to be out after curfew?

Answer:

In Arizona, a minor is not violating a county or city curfew if they are accompanied supervising adult, are on an emergency errand or have been specifically directed to the location on reasonable, legitimate business or some other activity by the supervising adult. (A.R.S. § 11-251(40)).

curfew laws are one of the worst laws ever it should be up to the parents how late there kids can be out not the government it just another one of little laws thats taking our freedom soon kid might not beable to leave the house except for school?!!?! but only if we let them push us around big brother is watching...

Well I've been reading some of these comments and I feel teens should have curfew. Teens, especailly young teens, don't understrand the concept of being responsible. All you think about is having fun and fitting in. I think 18 is even young to be considered an adult becuase a lot of kids still haven't grown up by then. And I read someone saying adults should have laws or rules or something they do! Just because you are an adult doesn't make it ok to do whatever you want.

I am a parent and I am in favor of curfews to protect teens and college students and instill a sense of responsibility. But, what I would like to see is a curfew that requires a student to call home by a certain time to say "mom, I am dropping off Mary and I'll be home in 20 minutes, have the hot cocoa ready".
