Question: What are the consequences for being found guilty of counterfeiting?

Answer: Counterfeiting is a federal felony. The prison term for adults is around 15 years. A child would go to juvenile court for counterfeiting. If found delinquent of a misdemeanor or a felony, the options for any delinquency would apply. These include detention, probation, fines, rehabilitation, etc.
