Question: If I get arrested for the curfew, what will happen. Will you get handcuffed?
Answer: As usual with law enforcement, there is not a one-line answer. Everything depends on the specific circumstances within each situation. However, here is a basic answer: If arrested for curfew, a juvenile is usually not handcuffed. The juvenile will receive a citation (will have to appear in court at a later date) and parents will be called to come pick him up. However, if the officer has to transport the juvenile somewhere (home?), the juvenile will most likely be handcuffed. This is a safety issue with the transport situation.

Curfews violate the first ammendment of the contitution that ensures right for teenagers around the world. CURFEWS are an exscuse for counties to make money and it needs to be stopped because its ridiculous. It denies part of our rights of freedom. Luckily for me Dallas, Texas doesn't enforce it well.

I was busted for curfew a few weeks ago. I was scared because I've never been in any trouble before. My parents werent home. I didnt know where they were. The cop told me if he found my parents, that would be the end of it,but if he didnt he'd beat me up like Rodney King.

He serched me and handcuffed me with my hands behind my back and put me in the car. I was glad when he took off the cuffs after he talked to my parents. but they were mad..

I was arrested for cufew with my four friends, the cop told us to give him our name's and phone number's. He reached all of my friends parents and they came to pick them up. He wasn't able to get ahold of my parents so he had to transport me home. I was really scared and didn't know what it would be like to be arrested. He told me to get on the car, he checked me and then handcuffed me and put me in the back of the police car. When he took me to my house he released the cuffs and had a short talk with my parents.
