Question: If I get arrested for the curfew, what will happen. Will you get handcuffed?

Answer: As usual with law enforcement, there is not a one-line answer. Everything depends on the specific circumstances within each situation. However, here is a basic answer: If arrested for curfew, a juvenile is usually not handcuffed. The juvenile will receive a citation (will have to appear in court at a later date) and parents will be called to come pick him up. However, if the officer has to transport the juvenile somewhere (home?), the juvenile will most likely be handcuffed. This is a safety issue with the transport situation.

Iwas arrested for cufew about 2 years ago and I have been scared to death to even walk out in my yard past midnight. I think the law is ridiculous, and parents should be the maker of a curfew rule,my mom never had a problem with me being out a little late in the summer, she knews Im responsible, why dont they?

I think that people should just follow directions then the law would not interfere with them or there doings.
