Question: What are the requirements to become President?

Answer: The United States Constitution outlines the requirements for President in Article 2. This article of the U.S. Constitution also outlines the many powers of the President and Executive branch of government.

Section 1 of Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution states that a President must:

  • be a natural born citizen of the united States
  • be at least 35 years old
  • have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years

In addition, the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states that a President may not serve more than 2 terms of 4 years each, even if they have only served as President for 2 or more years of one of those terms.

politicians are not elected to change anything. they are put in place to keep the status quo and do as they are told from behind the curtain. Millions of ppl fit the pre-req to become president but each year a handful of people get together and decide which 2! we get to pick from. We have handed our collective decision making process over to a system with inherent flaws written into it. on top of that this system is "reported" to us by a biased media system. And all of this is backed by a financial system that can ONLY collapse. President is a title, nothing more. You want change? look within.

The President is not the "president". Merely a fugurehead to appease the conscience of the masses. Providing the illusion of a free and unmanipulated election. "Don't judge a book by its cover," but we can sure judge a person by the company they keep and the corrupt politicians they associate themselves with. To say that Obama will be the greatest is true optimism and much appreciated, but to say that because we did not vote for a corrupt, inexperienced, non american our parents raised us wrong is really judging us by our "cover". WAKE UP!!!!
