Question: Can minors get pulled over solely for having super tinted windows? What is the legal limit for tinted windows?

Answer:

In Arizona, anyone can get pulled over for violating the law concerning the tinting of windows. Arizona Law (A.R.S. § 28-959.01) says that any material on the window that lets through less than 33% of the light entering it is illegal.

im not sure if minors can get pulled over for having tint windows but in general anybody can get pulled over. i live in MN and i see many cars that have dark tint windows like mine, i put them in a fe days ago and havent gotten pulled over yet. personally i dont agree with someone saying that a cop can just run a plate check, driver needs to be checked to. no cop is gonna ask "whats your address??" over the loud speaker.

First off, you all seem to have something to hide, if you didnt you wouldnt be making such a big deal about the tinting laws. But it comes down to a safety issue for law enforcement officers. With all the crimes being commited these days we cant take any risks.

My last 3 vehicles have had window tint. The front windows in MI are illegal except for 4" from the top. I like the way it looks, and it's cooler inside, etc. I don't do anything illegal or try to hide, but I just got pulled over for the tint, and they let me off the hook. Everyone knows that you can see out better than you can see in, especially at night.

As I said before and I will say again. I have a Caddy, A ....No window cardboard, sorry but thats cheap, kumbersom and gaudy. Look hears the lowdown for everybody. Do what you please. If you want the cops seeing every crevace of your life than fine do it. If you dont then hide it. Some people are sensitive to privacy of stuff they own in a vehicle. Some people arnt, but I dont have to ever worry because I am imune to the tinting laws. All the Librals in the world cant stop the Free will. God Bless America and its freedom. Anyone who would dissagree is un American and should be exiled.

Think about it... if you were an officer in these times wouldn't you be a bit nervous walking up to a car without being able to see what the people inside are doing? Don't you think it would be nice to know the guy behind the wheel is not pointing a gun at you. I know some argue that the sun damages their interior... If your that concerned go buy those shade things and use them whenever you park. I think our officers safety comes before our cars interior. Don't be too hard on the police for doing their job. Its funny how many of us scream and hollar about them when we mess up, but when we need
