Question: Could my grandmother sign my marriage license if she has taken care of me for my entire life?
Answer: If you are under 18, according to Arizona Law (ARS 25-102), you can not get married without the consent of your parent or guardian having custody.
If your grandmother is your custodial guardian (meaning her custody and/or guardianship of you is legally recognized by the court) she can consent to your marriage. If you are under sixteen, a guardian and a superior court judge must approve it.
Now, if you just want your grandmother to sign your marriage certificate as a witness, she can certainly do that. Arizona Law (ARS 25-125) states that the witnesses must just be at least 18 years old.
