Question: How old do you have to be before you can legally leave home in Arizona?

Answer:

If a person under 18 leaves home without permission from a parent or legal guardian, he or she can be prosecuted as an incorrigible child (A.R.S. § 8-201(15)(c)). Some of the consequences of being found incorrigible include being fined, be placed on probation, and being ordered to do community service.

I'm a 15 year old girl living in Texas, I don't like living home with my parents. I have a boyfriend and I researched on this "Leaving home at age 17", thing, and I found out that I can take off from home at that age. But..just letting my parents know where I'm at and how I'm doing. That's what I plan to do.

My niece is 14 and her mother (my sister) doesn't take care of her. I was wondering how old she would have to be to leave her mother's home and move in with me without getting in trouble with the law.

I know i can't emancipate myself without their consent, but i was told that i could leave if an adult was willing to step up as my guardian. Please let me know all the catches of this situation and if it's possible
