My children reside in fostercare because their father chooses to run not allow a legal divorce and doesn't see the children. He has not seen his daughter since she was about 5months old and has only seen his son once at a child support hearing when he was about 6wks old. He dpesn't pay support which would keep them from being in foster care for neglect 1 person can only do so much especially being disabled at that. His Mom says he knows and he doesn't try. Thats a crime and yes he should have to pay with his life.

Don't marry a man who has other kids if you don't undestand that the original kids come first. I am so sick of men leaving and starting a family with someone else and complaining that they don't have enough to live on. Don't have more kids if you can't support the ones you already have!

I have refused to pay child support for over two years. I simply grew tired of my child support deductions being rerouted or redirected (to private collection agencies) for payment of (disputed???) bills that I never owed. After collecting over $25,000 dollars in Unemployment Benefits from four different employers who engaged in same, enough was enough. Despite always being awarded unemployment benefits, Child Support would indemifiy the employer, assume legal liability and then argue I have no right to (ever) quit a job, sue the employer, or file for unemployment benefits. Wrong!

yeah just think if there was no law forcing people to pay child support. maybe people would start thinking before they had unprotected sex if they had to support their kids without wellfare and without child support. maybe they would stop getting divorced so much. maybe alot of teenagers would stop having babies. maybe someone would realize it doesn't take 200 + dollars a week to raise one child. i did without alot when i grew up. and kids today do not need all those little extra things someother kid may have. i teach my kids that we can't have things just because other people have them.

i don't think you should have to pay anything if the other parent is making visitation diffucult because they are spiteful. i come from a divorced family. my mom never once asked my dad for child support and he never paid. but we always seen my dad. always. we did without alot of things growing up. but we had what we needed the most. parents that even though one cheated on the other. never held hard feelings and always stayed friendly and i'm 30 now and they still do. it doesn't take 200 dollars a week to raise one kid. my mom fed 6 people for 60 dollars a week. i'm a very happy adult.
