Question: I will be 18 soon. I am I still required by law to go to visitation with my dad who I don't really get along with?

Answer: Under Arizona law, and probably under the law of most other states, you are an adult at age 18, and the court no longer has jurisdiction to order visitation. Therefore, you no longer have to see your Dad. You may find that when you don't have to see him, you want to. Also, now you have some control over the situation. When you want to end a visit, you can leave. You can call up to suggest a meeting somewhere. You don't have to eat or sleep in his house. Give it some time and see if you cannot make a new relationship with him now that he has no authority over you.
