You need to have an honest, straight to the point-talk with YOUR MOTHER and ask her for help. It should really be up to you to decide how much involvement you want from this man that has not been in your life. But to do so legally, you will need your mother's help. Nevertheless, you might want to clarify if it was his choice to stay away from you or perhaps if was your mother's wish as well. Adults make many mistakes and unfortunately, the kids end up paying as well! You are right though, paying child support should not give him the right to see you!

your answer is horribly wrong. Child support does not entitle any bio parent to visitation or parental rights. If he hasn't seen his child is 7 years he needs to establish his rights via the court system.

hi courtney. Im sara and I was Abused a few years ago and I how somewhat what your going though. Dont let someone make you do anything stand up for your right. If you dont want to see him and your over the Age for your state then Dont tell him your mind and how you feel.If your father Abuse you go and get ahold of the Childen Service. There is also a Night Program If you need them after hours. Courtney Dont let no one make up your mind. Stand up for your rights and I know you can.
