I am a 16 year old girl, and I am adopted. My mom and dad use to abuse me. My new family is ok though. I am always being picked on in school because of being adopted. Kids say that I should be dead, because my parents apperently didn't want me. It's been the same thing for the last two years. What they say really has a strong affect on what I think about myself. What should I do?

At least they let you go to school! It may seem like a horrible thing to do, but it really is the BEST thing to be in at your age, and its the best thing in a life time! Its about the ONLY place you can go to make friends

My parents and grandparents were the same way with me until this year (im over 18) and well, because of that, I have a VERY VERY VERY bad life, and have TONS of problems, including mental trauma. And well, I don't even have a friend in the world, unless u count my dog as a friend. And since I couldn't go to highschool for my junior and senior year, I didn't get to make any / keep new friends. And since im over 18, I can't go back to higschool (although I tried 5 times) I no longer have the CHANCE to make friends.StayInSchool

im in a family who completely ignore me, i havnt spoken to any one in my family for a few years, yet my brother and them have so much in common and are so close, there are no simullarities in my family, i even have to make my own meals etc and i was annorexic for a year and a half but my friends made me get helo, and i have come to the answer i am adopted, is there any way i can find information on my birth and if my theory is true or not, please get back to me :(- girl unloved
