Question: If someone threatens to kill me can he/she go to jail?

Answer:

Arizona Law (A.R.S. § 13-1202) states that threatening or intimidating to cause physical injury to another person is a class one (1) misdemeanor. A class one misdemeanor is punishable by up to six (6) months in jail and a $2500 fine. (A.R.S. § 13-707).

A woman wants to kill my boyfriend because he told the police that she needed to be put in rehab. She indeed need to go to re-hab for excessive heroin and crack use. She was a danger to her life as well as others. They let her out of the facility a few hours later for this reason... she was detoxing and therefor no one could make a decision weather she was phycotic or not. So she is free to roam around again, within the same day she was taken into custudy.
