How's it goin?  I'm Ernest. I'm 15 years old and have never been in any trouble before. In fact, I've been on the honor roll all through high school. But now I've really got trouble.  I don't know why I did it, but on a dare from a friend, I borrowed this one neighbor's car. You see, we knew the keys were always in the ignition. Right now, I wish they weren't that day. Anyway, I guess I'm not that great of a driver yet and I accidentally went up over a curb and hit an old lady.  Geez, she's my grandma's age, 72, and I hurt her bad! The police and ambulance showed up and I was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.  And from what I understand, back in 1997 a law got passed in Arizona where this type of case has to be filed in the adult justice system! Before, I might've gotten time in the juvenile jail or put on probation, but now I'll have to serve 7-1/2 years in adult prison!

Gee, I feel so sorry for you. I would tell the cops that your "friends" dared you to do it.

What that doesnt make sense, an honor roll student throwing everything away for a dare, like whatever the odds of that are like winning the lotto, and also he started with "hows it going" that doesnt make sense, he's about to be put in jail and look how calm he is about whats going on. Also he would have gotten a choice of community service for a certain amount of time and home detention also taking away his license and lastly home detention, which would make his overall time in jail a maximum of 2-3 years!?

This goes to show you how the court and laws are so messed up.  You may be lying or telling the truth only you know. But say you are telling the truth and you've never been convicted of anything. Now you’re doing seven years in jail while the man that raped a thirteen year old girl is on probation and he will do it again and again because that’s what his back ground has listed.... AND NEVER SERVING JAIL TIME AND IF HE DID NOTHING MORE THE THREE YEAR THAT MAKES ME SICK. I REALLY DO FEEL BAD FOR YOU.

This story is blatantly fake. No honor roll kid recently convicted of aggravated assault starts a story with "How's it goin'?"
