Juvenile Detention - Listen to Jay<<Listen

It's important to know about the law. I wish I would have known more about the law so I could have made better decisions. If I have one piece of advice, it's to choose your friends carefully. You can really be a good person, but get into a lot of trouble if you hang out with troublemakers. In detention, I don't have freedom to be with my family and friends, or go places. It's amazing the little things in life that you miss being locked up here. Being in a detention center here is not cool. Some kids I knew that were locked up here and got out made it sound like this was a great place to be. But, I hear tough guys like them crying themselves to sleep at night all the time. It's hard to live here, and it's hard to stay out of trouble when you are not locked up here. Take it from me, I know it is! But you have to remember that only you can decide what to do, and you have to pay the price for your actions. I say learn as much about the law as you can. And, think about what I've told you and shown you here next time you think about breaking the law!
