You figure out real quick what the rules are here. And the better you follow the rules, the better it is here. If you do good & follow the rules, you earn points to get a different shirt. Yellow and Red shirts get more privileges like later bedtimes or special chores. I never thought of chores as a privilege before; but in detention, you'll do anything to keep busy and keep earning points. The staff on the unit are pretty cool. They give us projects like writing a newsletter or hanging posters in the rec room. And, sometimes if you are a red shirt and you do a real good job at something you can get a big mac or coke. It doesn't sound like much, but just wait until you see what our normal meal is here.
