figure out real quick what the rules are here. And the better
you follow the rules, the better it is here. If you do good &
follow the rules, you earn points to get a different shirt. Yellow
and Red shirts get more privileges like later bedtimes or special
chores. I never thought of chores as a privilege before; but in
detention, you'll do anything to keep busy and keep earning points.
The staff on the unit are pretty cool. They give us projects like
writing a newsletter or hanging posters in the rec room. And,
sometimes if you are a red shirt and you do a real good job at
something you can get a big mac or coke. It doesn't sound like
much, but just wait until you see what our normal meal is here.
