I was recently charged with felony because I used someone else's credit card. I myself told the police that I had used it because I could not live with the guilt inside me of the crime I had commited. The police has told me that they have spoken to the prosecutor and he is not looking for any jail time. I just want to make sure if there is any jail time involved for first time offenders. I am 22 years old and have had a clean record in the past. I spent $400 on the credit card. I live in Vancouver, Canada.
I have been charged with using another persons credit card. I did not know that it was stolen. I will be pleading not-guilty. I will be defending my self. If any one can help me find information on this subject so I know what to anticipate and what I can use to properly defend my self it would be greatly appreciated.
