Question: Is it unconstitutional for teachers to tell me to turn my shirt inside out?
Answer: School authorities can make reasonable rules and regulations controlling student conduct including student dress and personal appearance. Most school dress codes have been upheld by courts except where the rules were too broad, vague, ambiguous, or don't relate to legitimate educational purposes. Depending on what was on your shirt, your school could be seen as being reasonable in requiring you to turn it around.

I was recently dress coded because I was wearing a shirt with "rude" text. It was quoting one of the French people from Monty Python and the Holy Grail and it had the words "I fart in your general direction." printed on it, I don't see how that's such a rude thing. Anyone else agree with me?

I think that is fair of the school to make you turn a shirt inside out because if the message on the shirt was bad or vulgar enough than you are disturbing and having a negative influence on all of the other kids around you.
