Question: What would be a good law to research for a Social Studies class?
Answer: There is a lot of information on this website about Senate Bill 1446. Senate Bill 1446 was written after voters passed a 'get tough on crime' proposition in July 1996. Look under Youth Laws, Juvenile Justice for more information.

It Depends on what age group you have if you have middle schoolers then I think the Roe vs. Wade case would be a good one. You can find infromation on this site at www.RoevWade.org.
