Question:

How long does it take to become a lawyer? Is it fun? Where can I go to school?

Answer:

It takes at least seven years after high school graduation to become a lawyer - about four years to get a bachelor's degree and three years for law school. After law school you must pass a test called the 'bar exam' in order to become a lawyer. There is a law school at Arizona State University (in Tempe) and another at the University of Arizona (in Tucson). There are also a lot of law schools in other states. Libraries have lists that rank law schools. No job is 100% fun, but there are fun things about being a lawyer. Many lawyers get to meet new people a lot. Most lawyers work long hours. Most lawyers do not have to do the kind of work that hurts their bodies. The best thing about being a lawyer is helping others.

See the Arizona Bar Association's booklet about careers in law.

actually ive been reading up, and one of the only good things about being a lawyer is helping people, i got intersested after reading Rainmaker... a book about a lawyer. I did some research, and the law schools these days are serverely lowering their standards, there are also way too many lawyers, so finding jobs will be hard, and by the time we would graduate from law school, the country would be overrun with lawyers. It also cuts into your personal life and time. I'm not finding any motivation for being a lwayer, especially after the research
