Question: Why isn't expulsion illegal if everyone has the right to learn?
Answer: Expulsion is legal, because education is a privilege, not a right.
There is a common feeling in the United States that we have a 'right' to an education. The concept of a 'right' means something that is protected and guaranteed to everyone. However, the United States Constitution does not include a right to education among the Bill of Rights (the first ten amendments to the US Constitution). The Supreme Court of the United States has also never found a right to education within any of the other rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Instead, the Supreme Court has classified education as a 'privilege', which means something that is available to people generally, but can be taken away.
As with all privileges, the Supreme Court requires that care be taken before taking away a person's educational privileges. This care is called 'Due Process' and means that before a student can be expelled, the reasons must be explained to him (or her) clearly and he must be given an opportunity to explain his side of the story. Alright this is my view,They said that an education is a privlege not a right. But why should any kid regardless if they are having difficulties or not be denyed an education. It is an education after all that can teach children things.right or wrong. And if the parents are not goin to take responsiblity in teaching them, then who is? What do we stand for here in the united states? Everybody deserves a chance to learn. And with that a hope of reinventing themselves as a new person.

Expulsion from schools does not need to be made illegal, only a few people are bad enough to get banned from a school, but I think this is good because when someone is constantly disrupting a class and the teacher then they need to be stopped, as they are stopping others learning. These other people have the same right to learn but are not abusing it. If someone abuses their right to learn so badly then we shoud assume they don't want to learn, and that's fine by America, just another stupid person who ends up on the streets because they got thrown out of school.
