ya becasue they have to go to party and sneak it from there parents so they drive home drunk so they dont get in trouble but if it was legal to drink at 16 you wouldent have to drive anywhere

i believe that the legal drinking age should be reduced to 18. Being an adolecent is all about being a rebelion. When raising the drinking age to 21, one only makes drinking more desirable. Yes there are alot of car crashes for underage drinking, however, the same with legal drinking age drivers. So why not lower the drinking age? I myself am not a fan of drinking, but it is just a obvious solution.

The drinking age here is 21. If you can go into the military and die for your country, vote for your country, and be able to purchase certain kinds of guns at 18, why is the drinking age 21? Currently in the state of South Dakota, you have to be 21 to buy alcohol. However, if you are in a bar with your parents or legal guardian, you can legally drink alcohol at 18. How can some states get away with this, and other states cant?
